Baptist have a heritage that could only be sustained through God's very own hand.  Through out New Testament history there has always been a group that held to "Baptistic" beliefs.  They might have had other names, but their views have always been similar. Baptist have always stood for God.  Baptist have never protested, therefore, we are not Protestants.  Our heritage is rich with the men and women who would not bend the knee to mortal man, but to God alone!
