I was saved Aug 27th. 1935 At the Conasauga Baptist Church (Conasauga is in Polk County TN) when I was 13 years old. I went into the Army when I was 18. God called me to preach while I was in service. I came out of service on Aug. 12th. 1946, and married Pauline Patterson. I preached my first revival the 2nd week of August 1946 God Gave Pauline and I two wonderful daughters Joyce and Tina. I pastored for 20 years. Until my health became so bad I was on the road all the time in revivals. I am 78 years old now, and not able to go very much, but the fire still burns in my heart to preach. I am  unable to drive great distances, but I do preach on the weekends when I am able.
