Hephzibah House began in 1971 as a
Bible-believing Christian ministry helping families in
crisis.
Specifically, Hephzibah House is a
place where a parent or parents can send their troubled
teenage daughter over whom they have lost control. At
Hephzibah House, that young woman receives structure,
character training, discipline, and an academic
education.
Over the years, Hephzibah House has
developed a number of resource materials that have been
designed to help families and family members with
various problems that occur in many marriages and homes.
Because these resources in print, audio tape and video
tape have been developed on the basis of Biblical
principle, those who do not view the Bible as being
God's revelation to man would probably not be interested
in utilizing them.
On the other hand, those who believe
the Scriptures as being God's revelation would find
these resources to be helpful and practical in their
family living.
Thus, Hephzibah House has a two-fold
mission: helping fundamental, Bible believing Christians
with their teenaged daughters over whom they have lost
control by providing a structured boarding school for
that child, and by providing resource materials for
married couples and family members in order that they
might enjoy the privileges that God has given them in
their home.
For those who have an interest,
Hephzibah House also produces a 15 minute weekly
broadcast "The Voice of Hephzibah House," which is heard
on approximately a dozen stations around the country.
This broadcast features an exposition of Scripture,
usually covering books of the Bible. Often, the
exposition is related to home and family issues. As a
part of that broadcast, the students of Hephzibah House
are often featured singing various hymns and Gospel
songs. Radio stations and times of broadcasts are listed
in this web site.
Finally, as director of Hephzibah
House, I am available to speak in independent,
fundamental, separated churches in order to hold "Home &
Family Days" (three messages on home and family themes
on any given Sunday), Home & Family conferences of
several days in length, or special meetings in churches
featuring the exposition of the Word of God.
We encourage God's people and those
who fear the Lord to utilize our resources and various
ministries as you have need and inclination. |
